TLC New Year Series PT 3: Cambodian Style Braised Pork Belly | Kaw Sach Chruk Bei Chuon 🇰🇭

1. Caramelize sugar over medium heat, keeping a really close eye while stirring. 
2. Once the sugar turns an amber color, add the pork belly, ginger, garlic, black pepper, fish sauce, seasoning sauce, chicken bouillon, MSG, and stir for 10 mins. 
3. Add 1 can of coco rico soda, fill the pot with water & set the burner to medium/low heat. 
4. Occasionally remove impurities from the surface. 
5. In the last 30 mins, add bamboo shoots and eggs. 
6. Cook time over an induction burner will generally take 2 hours, and maybe less over a direct gas range. 

Feel free to add more sugar for more sweetness & fish sauce for more of a savory flavor.
