Salisbury Steak with Blue Tick Bourbon Burgers

Prepare Burgers:

Deconstruct 3 burger patties. Add 1 tbsp of Dijon mustard, 1 tbsp of granulated garlic, 2 tsp of onion powder, 2 tsp of black pepper, 1/4 cup of bread crumbs, and 1 egg. Blend well and form into new burger patties. Set aside.

Cook Burgers:

Pan fry the reformed burger patties on medium heat for 3 minutes on each side. Set aside.

Salisbury Steak Gravy:

On medium heat, add 1.5 tbsp of neutral oil. Add 1 chopped whole onion and sauté for 3 minutes. Add 1/3 stick of butter and 2 tbsp of minced garlic, then sauté for 1 minute. Add 2 tbsp of all purpose flour and sauté for 1-2 minutes. Add 1.5 cups of beef broth and 2 tbsp of Worcestershire sauce, then sauté for 2-3 minutes. Add 1 tbsp of granulated garlic powder, 2 tsp of onion powder, 2 tsp of black pepper, and a dash of mushroom seasoning. Mix well. Reintroduce the cooked burger patties into the gravy and sauté for 12-15 minutes. Add a dash of brown sugar (optional) to taste.
