These Cheesy Fried Shrimp Dumplings are a delicious wrap! Made with a flavorful shrimp blend, Colby Jack cheese, and served with a sweet honey mayo sauce, they are fried to crispy perfection. Great as an appetizer or a savory snack.
SHRIMP BLEND:
To a food processor, combine 1lb of peeled shrimp, 1 large egg, 1 tbsp chicken powder, 2 tsp of MSG, 2 tsp of black or white pepper, 1 tsp of sugar, a pinch of salt, and 1 tbsp of corn starch. Grind until well combined. Transfer the shrimp blend to a bowl.
DUMPLINGS:
Take a Twin Dragon wrapper and add approximately 1 tbsp of the shrimp blend to its center. Place approximately a 1-inch piece of Colby Jack cheese on top of the shrimp blend. Glide water to the top corners of the wrappers. Fold and pleat the dumplings as instructed (refer to video for visual guidance if available).
HONEY MAYO SAUCE:
In a small bowl, combine 2 tbsp of mayo, 1 tbsp of condensed milk, and 1 tsp of honey. Mix well until smooth.
FRIED DUMPLINGS:
Set your fryer to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Carefully place the dumplings into the hot oil and fry for 4-5 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through. Serve hot with the Honey Mayo Sauce.
